Darksome Rain

The rain over Oakhaven never stops — and it knows every secret in town.

When meteorologist Dr. Elara Vance arrives to investigate a stationary storm that falls only within the town limits, she finds something impossible: the warm, relentless rain is physically manifesting residents' darkest secrets. Stained hands. Rotting food. A dead man's watch fused to a living wrist.

Elara has her own buried truth — the night her daughter drowned, and the phone alert she chose to silence. And the rain has been waiting for someone like her.

When the town tries to end the storm with a mass confession, the sky only darkens. Because the rain doesn't want their guilt washed away.

It wants to feed.

By Jason Wayne. A supernatural psychological horror novel about grief, guilt, and the terrible difference between confessing to wound and confessing to atone.
